My Farewell.

Wow.  I can't believe I've done this 365 times.  Looking back, I am amazed to see what a life I've had.  There's still so much to come, and I can hardly wait.

Thank you.  I'm glad I was able to share my memories with you.  For one year or so, we had a conversation almost every day.  Now my scrapbook is going to close.  To be sure, there will be more adventures, more memories, more wonderful times- just not here.  This is it.  However, I wanted to go out on a high note, so I collaborated with some friends over at I-BulldogStudios and made you this.  This is a song I used to sing to Baby Mario on our first adventure together.  Someone posted a theory on Pinterest, and they were right.  If you want to see the whole story you can check it out here.  At any rate, again, thank you.  I'll never forget the time we've shared learning from and sometimes laughing at my past.  Good bye, and God bless.

I laughed too hard for him not to notice.  He forgave me, though, and even gave me permission to post the photo, agreeing that it was pretty funny.

I drew this sketch when I was younger.  It was one of those "What do you want to be when you grow up?" things in Kindergarten, and was before I met Mario.  Apparently I wanted to be some sort of Apatopteradactyl thing.  Glad I didn't get my way.

Eye on It.

This is a pretty lousy picture, but I like it because it reminds me of that game I played with my parents where my Dad would come and tell me to close my eyes and when I opened them he would have a gift in his hands for me.  He still does that occasionally.

Not Necessary.

I mean, he is making enough noise to make himself pretty obvious.  The arrow is nice, I guess, but, I CAN hear him loud and clear.  Just sayin'.

Named Nicely.

I actually don't mind, I just kind of find it amusing.  On the other hand, it has different names in different countries, and some of those include Mario in the title.  Luigi's in this adventure too, though.  It's weird.

Scope in Retrospect.

Sometimes our mistakes end up being our favorite memories.  That's my experience, anyways.

Yeah.  It's not.  Ever.  This low-res picture still fills me with dread, because there's nothing like being woken up from a nap to find out your friends are missing!  Seriously, WHO WROTE MY STORY?!

In spite of the fact that the stories of our adventures never seem to show us talking, we do.  Honestly, I'd get bored to death just carrying Mario around all the time.  Here I was actually telling Mario about Bowser's "visit" before he arrived.  If I had a follow-up photo you'd see Mario responding, but, I don't.  Next time maybe.

Even if it is supposed to be just a trophy, it makes me feel really awkward.  I knew my eyes and nose were big, but c'mon!  And where did Mario's neck or mouth go?  Why do my pupils look like...that- and there's no way my nostrils are that big!  Seriously, why do I even HAVE this photo?!?

Hmm...trying to remember the last time I visited Hyrule besides in a race.  Where did they get that photograph of Peach?

Mario wanted to go for a long run that day, so I gave it all I had.  Apparently we can go pretty fast.  I didn't actually know until that day just how fast.

Painful Memories.

That hurt.  I don't like this picture at all.  It's embarrassing and reminds me of a painful experience.  You'll notice the saddle (or shell if you prefer) on my back is almost falling off.  I don't know why or how, but I'm thinking it had something to do with hitting the ground.  Ouch.

This was a fun ceremony.  We haven't had many like it, though.  I guess Cranky's too busy.  I should email him about that sometime.

It's fun to look at what racing used to be like.  My kart was kind of a clunker then, hard to turn, kind of slow, not at all easy to balance.  Now we do flips and antigravity driving...kind of amazing, when I think about it.

Pipe Dream.

I'm beginning to wonder how I can look so different in so many picture.  I guess it's because I just keep changing.  When you think about it, that's really not so bad, but I spend so much time worrying about it.  I really don't need to, though, because in the end, it's all going to turn out just great.

Even when you aren't doing something exciting, you are actually doing something.  Think about that!  Even if you don't enjoy it, you are actively participating in life!  That's pretty wonderful!

I like this picture from the Olympics.  Even though it's just one of the events I was in, it reminds me that whatever you start, you should determine to complete.

I have a long sticky tongue.  Mario can throw fire and ice.  Both of us have excellent jumping capabilities.  Yet we still had a goofy looking shotgun for dealing with Bowser's baddies.  I still don't get it.

Nobody actually looks fierce in this photo.  I think Luigi was trying, but I appear to be staring off into space.  Peach might be doing some step in the Macarena for all I know, and Daisy...no idea how to interpret that, frankly.  It's not like the Mega Sledge Bro (who desperately needs a shorter name) looks all that much more engaged, though.  Basically we all look like we're at some sort of party or something.  Wait...

I found this posted on a telephone pole once.  Slightly inaccurate, since I don't die (obviously) when I run off of a cliff, but I still laughed pretty hard.

Sorry about the terrible pun.  This picture was taken a while back, and it's kind of amusing to me because I don't usually carry an umbrella, so I'm not sure why I had one here.  Wait...now I do!  I was doing my best impression of Mary Poppins.  I still wish I could be "practically perfect in every way."

I don't believe I can properly summarize how awkward this photo makes me feel.  It was about as close as I ever came to trying to be "cool".  It just looks stupid, frankly.  At any rate, I only tried it for a day.

I love this picture.  It was taken right before the other Yoshis and I went on another adventure.  I like to savor moments like those, the calms before the action begins.

Although we might sometimes forget what it was for.  This one was actually an award for doing well in a video game...Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels, I think it was.
