Sneeze Ease.

This shot was really well-taken, because just after the camera panned away from Mario, Peach, the Toads, and myself and the sound switched to just music, I let out a sneeze that nearly threw me into the moat!  It's funny how much you can conceal when you try not to feel.  I didn't let it show, but now you know!

Pending Crisis.

A note to all parents.  In spite of what the cartoons may seem to say, if your baby starts floating away, it should be handled immediately.  Also, no, this picture isn't to scale.

Club Envy.

Yeah...so there's everyone else in the picture, and then there's Donkey Kong.  Finding a club the size of my not inconsiderable nose would, I thought, have been a challenge, but apparently not for him.

Photo Flunk.

I seriously have no idea what went wrong with this photograph.  We all were posing on a clean white background, we smiled, everything that we should have done we did, but...well, you can see it still went all wrong.  Toad's mouth and head are misshapen and he has the wrong pattern of dots.  Mario looks way taller than I am because I'm slouching.  Wario isn't nearly that tall, and neither is Peach (I'm taller than both of them, actually).  Peach looks almost cross-eyed, more like a wind-up toy than a person.  Luigi looks like he's in a Shakespearean play and is also too tall.  Donkey Kong looks like he's stepping on my tail.   Mario and I both seem to be missing our tongues.  We aren't even all standing on level ground!  What on earth happened with this photo?  I talked to Luigi about it yesterday, actually, and he said it had something to do with the developer.  At any rate, we all love looking at this picture because it's one of those proofs that a good photograph isn't always as easy as "Smile and wave".

Big Egg on the Block.

If one standard egg can collect, say, 20 coins, it seems reasonable to up the ante, right?  It's the same principle that applies to ice cream, studying, and fireworks.

Cookie Consumption Continues.

This summarizes my attitude towards sugary foods in general.  What can I say?  I do have a metabolism that compensates pretty well, after all.

Home, Home with Some Change.

I can't believe how much I've changed over the years.  What excites me about it is that with each change I'm able to do what I was made for a little bit better.  Even though it's not always easy to undergo, the amazing things that can happen as a result of change are usually completely worth it.  Amazing things are in our future, whether we realize it or not.

Stumbling Speech.

Yeah...so this is one of my favorite "failure" moments.  I don't know why on earth I said this to Mario.  I meant to say "Is that really you?"  Obviously, that did not work out.  No one holds it over my head, of course.  It's kind of funny in retrospect.

Tray Trumping.

Mario and I once decided to schedule a cookie picnic with our friends.  We agreed to make and organize the cookies, and, even though we had a blast, I still remember how difficult it was to hold that tray on my nose.  I've only used my nose to carry things a few times in my life, and I've never really been able to say about that "What a great idea!"  It was worth it, though.  I really did have a lot of fun.

Redundant Reminders.

Red Yoshi sent me this picture the other day because he thought it amusing that an announcement popped up when he handed Mario an egg.  I think it's rather funny too, frankly, because it seems unnecessary to have to clarify every event in your life in a fashion that redundant.  I can only imagine what my life would be like if that happened all the time...oh, wait...

I guess it does.

Funny Fail.

This is the worst thing I think I could ever undergo in conversation, ever.  So why does it always seem to happen to me?  It's not like I just hatched yesterday.

Let's just say I got lost in the translation.  My plan was to help Mario out more, but it didn't go quite as planned because I had to deal with some trouble on Yoshi's Island.  By the time I got back the problems were all solved already.

Midday Mind-Wandering.

My favorite memories are the ones I spent with friends and family.  That probably sounds like a Hallmark card, but that doesn't make it any less true.  Apparently Mario shares my sentiment.

Tennis, Frozen, 'Nuff Said.

I just love tennis.  I guess there's no other explanation for me writing a song like this.

Past and Present.

I've met a lot of really great people in my life, and at times I've had to part ways from them.  I may not be present with them all the time, but I'm always thinking about them.

Hatch Catch.

I don't understand it either, even though it can be pretty frustrating.  The strangest part is that sometimes I can escape and sometimes I can't.  Maybe I'll figure it out one day and not have trouble with it anymore.

Physics Pass.

I'm not the only one who can do this.  I've seen Mario, Peach, Luigi, Wario, and even Donkey Kong all do it before.  The question is: how?  I don't think even Isaac Newton could explain it.

Take It Easy.

Just because you're job is helping someone save the world doesn't mean that you shouldn't take a break.  Everyone should take a day off at least every week.  Otherwise you don't really do the other stuff well.

Life through a Loudspeaker.

Honestly, I think all those health indicator meters tell people way more than they need to know about us Yoshis and Mushroom Kingdom dwellers.  Is anyone really that interested in examining my diet?  If there is, that person is being creepy.

Honestly, Mario's parties are a bit risky for my liking.  I had to get them out after I got out myself (no easy task since Bowser was standing right there.

Luigi showed me this picture the other day.  Obviously I still have this habit after more than 20 years.  I guess old habits die hard.

Rainbow Rubble.

Let's be honest.  Rainbows do not strike fear into the heart of your opponent.  I seriously want to figure out a new attack method.  We'll see, I guess.

Birthday Bummer.

This picture was taken hastily, right before I ate the cookie, so, it's not a very good one.  I feel really bad for Toad when I look at this one because his gift was so well thought out.  He hadn't finished wrapping it, though, so I thought it was just a random cookie left in its original packaging.  I need to learn some self-control.

Tension Tightrope.

This is one of those moments that I look back upon and wonder "What was I thinking?"  It's a rebellion against common sense, but I survived.  Don't try this at home...or anywhere, actually.

Yep...it even drives us crazy.  There are exceptions but they are few...very few.

Really, I can't.  I wish I could, but it's impossible.  Sonic can't, either.

So, no, I wouldn't recommend doing this.  I do it because the plant works as an attack system, but that doesn't really make it easier to see through.  The fact that I'm not the only one doing it indicates, I guess, that we could all use more common sense.  I should bring that up before our next race...
